Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using beeboLink. By creating an account or using our service, you agree to these Terms.

beeboLink is an identity pre-validation link generation service. It allows you to upload a list of recipients (name + email), generate a unique verification link for each person, and track who has clicked their link — without requiring recipients to fill out a form.

You may use beeboLink if:

  • You are at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction)
  • You are using the service for lawful business purposes
  • You have the legal authority to bind yourself or your organization to these Terms

By using beeboLink, you confirm that the above conditions are met.

3. Your Account

3.1 Registration

You can create an account using an email address and password, or by signing in with Google. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Do not share your password with others.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, notify us immediately.

3.3 Account Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon account closure or termination, we will delete your account data within a reasonable period, except where we are required by law to retain it longer.

We may also suspend your account for violations of these Terms. During suspension, you may still view and export your existing data, but creating campaigns or uploading recipients will be disabled. Active recipient links associated with a suspended account will be invalidated.

If we terminate your account due to a violation of these Terms, you will not be entitled to any refund of fees paid.

beeboLink is designed for legitimate uses such as:

  • Event check-in and registration
  • Document or resource distribution
  • Identity confirmation for a known list of people

You may use beeboLink to generate and distribute token links to recipients on your list, view link activity (who clicked and when), and export that data.

Each token link can be clicked multiple times and each click is recorded. Campaigns may be set with an expiry date, after which recipient links will no longer be valid.

5. What You Cannot Do

You agree not to use beeboLink to:

  • Spam or send unsolicited messages. You must have a legitimate relationship with your recipients. Do not add people to campaigns without their knowledge or a lawful basis for contact.
  • Deceive or mislead recipients. Do not use beeboLink to impersonate another person or organization, or to redirect recipients to malicious or deceptive content.
  • Collect data unlawfully. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of recipient data complies with applicable privacy laws (such as GDPR, CAN-SPAM, or local equivalents).
  • Abuse the platform. Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, overload, or compromise beeboLink's infrastructure.
  • Use the service for illegal purposes. This includes but is not limited to fraud, phishing, harassment, or distributing illegal content.
  • Violate third-party rights. Do not upload data that you do not have the right to use.
  • Evade international sanctions. Do not use the service from or on behalf of any country, entity, or individual subject to international sanctions maintained by the United States, European Union, United Kingdom, or United Nations.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access without prior notice if we detect violations of these rules.

6. Your Responsibilities Regarding Recipient Data

You — the customer — are responsible for the recipient data you upload to beeboLink. This includes:

  • Lawful basis: You must have a legitimate reason to contact your recipients and store their information. If you are subject to GDPR or similar regulations, you are responsible for ensuring compliance.
  • Accuracy: The names and emails you upload should be accurate and up to date.
  • Consent to contact: You are responsible for obtaining any required consents before sending links to recipients.
  • The content recipients receive: beeboLink only handles the link generation and click tracking. The destination URL, and any message or email you use to deliver the link, are entirely your responsibility.

beeboLink does not send any communications to your recipients on your behalf. We generate the token links and record click activity. How you deliver those links to recipients — and what you communicate alongside them — is entirely your responsibility.

beeboLink acts as a data processor on your behalf for recipient data. You remain the data controller.

Any legal liability arising from the unlawful collection, processing, or use of recipient data — including violations of anti-spam laws, privacy regulations, or data protection requirements — rests solely with the customer. beeboLink shall have no liability in connection with a customer's failure to comply with applicable laws regarding their recipient lists.

Shared and forwarded links

beeboLink records link activity based on token clicks. We do not verify the identity of the individual clicking a link. If a recipient shares their unique link with a third party, any resulting click activity will be recorded under that recipient's record. beeboLink is not responsible for the accuracy of click data in such cases.

Automated clicks

Click data recorded by beeboLink may include automated clicks generated by email security scanning tools, such as link-preview or anti-phishing systems used by corporate email providers. beeboLink does not filter or distinguish between human clicks and automated scans. Click counts and timestamps should be understood as indicative rather than a precise measure of human engagement.

Destination URL content

beeboLink is a link generation and tracking service. We do not control, review, or endorse the content of destination URLs configured by customers. beeboLink is not responsible for any content, products, or services available at destination URLs, or for any harm resulting from a recipient's visit to such URLs.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Property

All software, design, branding, and content related to beeboLink — including the name, logo, and the platform itself — are owned by beeboLink. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the service while your account is active and in good standing.

7.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of the data you upload (campaign names, recipient lists, redirect URLs). By uploading data to beeboLink, you grant us the right to store and process it solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

7.3 Feedback

If you choose to submit suggestions, ideas, or other feedback about beeboLink ("Feedback"), you grant us a royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable license to use and incorporate that Feedback into our service in any way we see fit, without any obligation to compensate you or keep it confidential.

8. Pricing and Payment

beeboLink offers both free and paid plans. Specific limits and pricing are described on the pricing page at https://beebolink.com. Paid plans are billed on a monthly or annual basis.

  • Billing cycles are calculated from your sign-up date, not the calendar month.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable advance notice.

If your usage exceeds your plan's limits during a billing cycle, new recipient tokens cannot be generated until the next cycle begins or you upgrade your plan. Existing campaigns and previously generated links remain functional.

If you cancel your paid subscription, your account will automatically be downgraded to the free plan at the end of your current billing cycle. Your data and campaigns will remain accessible under the free plan's limits.

Campaigns created while on a higher-tier plan are not deleted upon downgrade. However, if your total number of campaigns exceeds the limit of your current plan, you will not be able to create new campaigns until you either upgrade your plan or delete existing ones to fall within your plan's limit. Existing campaigns and all previously generated links will remain fully functional regardless of plan.

If a payment fails, access to paid features may be restricted until the issue is resolved.

Payment Processing and Tax

Paid subscriptions are processed by our payment provider, which acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions. This means our payment provider is the seller of record and is responsible for billing, collecting payment, calculating and remitting applicable taxes (including VAT and GST), and issuing invoices. Refund requests are handled in accordance with our payment provider's refund policy, except where required by applicable law. beeboLink is not responsible for any errors or actions by our payment provider in connection with payment processing.

For free plan users, we reserve the right to adjust or limit the features and quotas available on the free plan at any time, with or without prior notice. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes in advance, but are not obligated to do so for free plan modifications.

9. Service Availability and Changes

We aim to keep beeboLink available and reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience downtime outside of our control.

We may update or modify the features and functionality of beeboLink from time to time to improve the service. We will not remove core functionality without reasonable advance notice.

We are not liable for any losses resulting from service unavailability.

9A. Service Discontinuation

beeboLink is an independently operated service. While we intend to keep it running for the foreseeable future, we cannot guarantee that the service will continue indefinitely.

If we decide to shut down beeboLink, we will:

  1. Notify all registered account holders by email at least 30 days before the service is terminated
  2. Keep all data export features fully functional throughout the notice period, so you can download your campaign data and recipient lists before the service closes
  3. Close the service and begin deletion of all account, campaign, and recipient data once the notice period ends
  4. Permanently destroy any residual data remaining in backup systems within 60 days of the service closure date

Refunds upon discontinuation

If you are on a paid plan at the time of discontinuation, we will issue a pro-rated refund for any unused portion of your current billing cycle. Refunds will be processed through the original payment method via our payment provider.

We will make a reasonable effort to provide the full notice period, but in the event of circumstances outside our control — such as the failure of a critical third-party service provider — it may not always be possible to do so.

10. Force Majeure

beeboLink shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, civil unrest, acts of government, power or internet outages, or failures of third-party infrastructure providers on which beeboLink relies.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, beeboLink is provided without warranties of any kind — express or implied — including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

  • The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Any errors will be corrected
  • The service will meet your specific business needs

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, beeboLink and its operators shall not be liable for any damages of any kind arising out of or related to your use of the service — including but not limited to loss of data, security breaches, service interruptions, lost revenue, or business interruption — regardless of the theory of liability and whether or not beeboLink has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

If any liability is found notwithstanding the above exclusion, beeboLink's total cumulative liability for any and all claims shall not exceed USD $50 or the total fees paid by you in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, whichever is greater.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless beeboLink and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights, including privacy rights
  • Data you have uploaded or campaigns you have created

14. Third-Party Services

beeboLink relies on third-party infrastructure providers. We are not responsible for the actions, policies, or failures of these third-party services.

When you use "Sign in with Google," you are also subject to Google's Terms of Service.

15. Account Disputes

In the event of a dispute between users over access to or ownership of a beeboLink account, we will not adjudicate or intervene in such disputes. You are responsible for resolving any such disputes directly with the other party. We reserve the right to suspend any account involved in a dispute to protect the security and integrity of the data within that account until the matter is resolved.

16. Intellectual Property Complaints

If you believe that any content or assets displayed through beeboLink — including favicons, brand icons, or any other material associated with URLs submitted by users — infringes your intellectual property rights, please contact us with the following information:

  • A description of the copyrighted work or intellectual property you believe has been infringed
  • A description of where the allegedly infringing material appears within the service
  • Your contact information (name and email address)
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law
  • A statement that the information in your notice is accurate

We will review all valid complaints and respond within a reasonable timeframe. Where appropriate, we will remove or disable access to the material in question. Please note that favicons and brand icons are displayed solely to identify the source of user-submitted URLs and are not used for commercial promotion.

17. Privacy

Your use of beeboLink is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date and make a reasonable effort to notify you (e.g., via email or an in-app notice). Continued use of beeboLink after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you may stop using the service and close your account by contacting us.

19. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan), except where mandatory applicable local laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise and cannot be excluded by contract. Any dispute that cannot be resolved through direct communication will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Taiwan.

20. Relationship of the Parties

beeboLink and you are independent parties. These Terms do not create any partnership, joint venture, agency, franchise, or employment relationship between us. You have no authority to make or accept any offers or representations on our behalf.

21. No Third-Party Beneficiaries

These Terms are between you and beeboLink only. No third party — including recipients whose data you upload to beeboLink — shall have any rights to enforce or rely upon any provision of these Terms.

22. Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not be considered a waiver of that right or provision. Any waiver of a specific right or provision must be made in writing and signed by an authorized representative of beeboLink to be effective.

23. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

24. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and beeboLink regarding your use of the service, and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements, representations, or understandings, whether written or oral. For clarity, our payment provider's terms of service and privacy policy apply separately to payment transactions and are not superseded by this agreement.
