Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") explains who you may send beeboLink links to, what you may link to, and how we enforce these rules. It is part of our Terms of Service. If you do not follow this Policy, we may suspend or terminate your account.

beeboLink does not send messages on your behalf. You choose how to deliver your links — by email, messaging apps, social networks or any other channel — and you are responsible for following the laws and the platform rules that apply to that channel.

You may only send beeboLink links to people who:

  • Agreed to hear from you — for example, through a sign-up form, an unticked opt-in checkbox, or a signed paper form;
  • Have an existing relationship with you — for example, customers who have bought from you, or people who contacted you about your products or services, and whom you have been in contact with within the last 2 years; or
  • Asked you for the content you are sending — for example, someone who requested a document, a recording or event materials.

Even where one of the above applies, the laws of your country or your recipient's country may require more, such as prior consent. You are responsible for meeting those requirements.

2. Lists You May Not Use

You may not upload or send links to email addresses or contacts that:

  • You bought, rented, borrowed or otherwise obtained from a third party, including list brokers and data providers;
  • You collected by scraping, harvesting or copying from websites, directories or social networks;
  • Were shared with you by another organization without the recipients' permission (for example, an event attendee list from a partner);
  • You have not contacted in the last 2 years, unless the person has agreed to hear from you again.

beeboLink records when each recipient's link is clicked and how many times. You are responsible for:

  • Telling your recipients that link activity is recorded, where the law requires it;
  • Obtaining your recipients' consent to this recording, where the law requires it (for example, in the European Union and the United Kingdom);
  • Not sending a personal link to someone who has refused or withdrawn consent to this recording.

Your destination URLs, and the messages you send with your links, may not contain or promote:

  • Phishing, malware, or any attempt to obtain passwords, payment details or other sensitive information under false pretenses;
  • Impersonation of another person, company or organization;
  • Illegal goods or services;
  • Pornography or escort services;
  • Affiliate marketing, pyramid schemes or multi-level marketing (MLM);
  • "Get rich quick" offers;
  • Forex, loan or quick credit services;
  • Gambling or betting;
  • Weight loss products;
  • The buying, selling or sharing of followers or likes;
  • Content that promotes discrimination or bullying, or that could pose a health risk, such as anti-vaccination material.

You may not:

  • Hide or misrepresent where a link leads, or show different content to us and to your recipients;
  • Use beeboLink to disguise affiliate links. Affiliate links are allowed only if you clearly disclose them to your recipients;
  • Link to another link-shortening or redirect service in order to hide the final destination;
  • Use a link hostname to impersonate or suggest an association with a company or organization you do not represent;
  • Use new accounts, link hostnames or domains to get around a block by an email provider, a messaging or social platform, or beeboLink.

6. How We Enforce This Policy

To keep beeboLink safe for all customers, we may:

  • Review campaigns, destination URLs and link activity, using automated tools and manual review;
  • Review campaigns that show unusual activity, such as a high unsubscribe rate;
  • If we notice unusual activity, receive a complaint, or have other concerns about your use of beeboLink, ask you for evidence that your recipients agreed to hear from you, have a relationship with you, or asked for your content;
  • Disable a campaign, a link, a destination URL or a link hostname, with or without notice;
  • Suspend or terminate your account, as described in our Terms of Service.

You may not create new accounts to get around a suspension, a termination or your plan's limits. If your account is suspended or terminated for violating this Policy, you will not receive a refund.

7. Reporting Abuse

If you received a beeboLink link you did not expect, or you believe a link is being used for spam, phishing or other abuse, please contact us and include the link you received. We review every report.

If you want to stop receiving messages from a sender, you can also use the unsubscribe link provided with your link, or contact the sender directly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may change this Policy at any time. Changes are posted on this page and take effect immediately when posted.
